Jennifer Viaene Artist Bio

Jennifer Viaene

Jennifer Viaene was born and raised in Wisconsin, inspired by watching her grandmother paint. While raising three daughters, she nurtured her love of color through interior decorating, sewing and crafting.

It was not until she spent a year abroad in Tasmania that she began painting, and her artistic journey took off. Influenced by the unique local culture, she began creating and selling aboriginal-style dot art in Australia.

After returning to the U.S., Jennifer settled in Destin, Florida, where her midwestern roots and Australian adventure continue to inspire her diverse artwork in a variety of mediums – acrylics, glass, jewelry and her most beloved dot art.

In 2015, Jennifer realized her long-time dream – opening Emerald Coast Gallery and Gifts, where she mentors developing artists and hosts a variety of classes open to the public.

  1. My husband and I visited your art study in late April and loved some of the multidimensional pieces you created. It appeared that you used cut glass and copper wire in some of them. We recently had a white cabinet built and are looking for a “Wow” art piece to fill a space over a mantle. We are interested in a piece with either a coral fan or ocean and sand using shades of navy or shades of lighter blue. The space is 50W x 33H but we are looking for a piece about 36W x 24 H. At that time you mentioned that you could custom make something for us. If it would be helpful, I could take a picture of the cabinet so that you might have a greater sense of what I am talking about. I look forward to hearing from you. If you have any pictures that you might share of some of your art with this theme, that would be helpful as well.
